My name is Paula Pérez i Lanuza but I'm also known as Paulapé.

I graduated in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, where I received a multidisciplinary education and later specialized in stop-motion in the Master of Animation. I continued my training in Buenos Aires, where I worked in the animation studio Can Can Club. I've continued developing my education in the field of illustration with professionals like Ana Ventura, Malota, Isol, Javier Zabala or Javier Saez Castán.

I've published my illustrations in several books and magazines, among which Arròs negre and the book El quadern d'Àngela (Tàndem, 2010), that was selected in 2012 for the exhibition The White Ravens of Jugendbiblithek Internationale of Munich. I have recently participated in the comic anthology Enjambre with the story Cándida (Norma, 2014).

I've exhibited my work in cities like Valencia, Barcelona, Madrid and Buenos Aires.

I currently combine my work as a freelance illustrator with teaching visual arts, what is absolutely enriching for my own creative process.
